Last year, sales in sweatpants, plants, and home decor skyrocketed and for good reason; we all realized how important it is to feel happy and at ease in our homes! It’s no secret that your living space and environment can have a massive impact on your mood. I’ve always loved interior design, but this year, I’ve been more even conscientious of my home decor since I’ve been spending so much time there. Little decorative tweaks can truly change the energy of a space and make it feel cozier and more personal, and I wanted to share some of my favorite elegant accents from Neiman Marcus with you guys.
I recently discovered Michael Aram’s selection of tasteful pieces for the home and I came away with a cartful of goodies. I’ve always been a big fan of gold decor, which is a theme in this collection!
For the Living Room:
I wanted to add some more homey touches to our space while keeping the minimalist chic aesthetic going. What could be a better way to do so than with some gorgeous picture frames? Picture frames are such a fun way to surround yourself with positive memories of friends and family, and in the era of social distancing, we need them more than ever. I picked up three different frames from Michael Aram’s collection, the Twist, Twig and Anemone, and plan to stick in a mix of photos of the kids, family gatherings, and throwbacks of younger days. How cute is this photo of baby Rio and I from a couple years ago? He was so little!
For Any Room:
I also picked up this Calla Lily bowl in elegant gold to add an eye catching element to a table or shelf. I love the geometric design, and the fact that it could go anywhere: on a bedroom dresser, living room shelf, or the dining room table. They have two sizes if you want to get a set. Finally, who would I be if I didn’t have a scented candle in each room? The design of this tasteful Anemone candle makes a gorgeous addition to any coffee table or dresser. For The Kitchen:
Every woman who’s intrigued by having get togethers and flirting with the art of hosting, needs some tools in her kitchen!
